Questions

Questions we hear before the visit

How much does it cost?

It depends on where the animal got in and what the repair needs. After the visit we send a written plan with each line priced, before any work starts. We don't quote by text or form.

How do you remove squirrels?

We find how they got in. Where the state's rules and the species allow it, we fit a one-way exit so adults leave on their own, and we close every other opening. If trapping is the right answer for your house, we say why. We follow the state's rules for each animal.

What if there are babies in the attic?

Taking the mother out alone is the wrong answer. We check for young first, and if they are there the plan changes: timing and method follow the state's rules, and we tell you what we found and what it means for the schedule before work starts.

Do you repair what you find?

We repair fascia, soffit, vents, chimney caps and gaps at the wall, and the framing behind them. We don't replace roofs or lay shingles. For that we work with your roofer, or give you our findings to hand one.

Is attic cleanup part of the job?

Only if you want it. Removing soiled insulation and replacing it is its own line on the plan. You can take it, leave it, or hire someone else.

Which other animals do you take?

Raccoons, skunks, opossums, bats, and birds in vents, case by case. Some species need permits, and some can't be moved at certain times of year. We don't take dogs and cats, and we don't treat for insects, rats or mice. We'll say who does.

Will my insurance pay for it?

Some homeowner policies cover sudden damage and not wear or wildlife damage over time. Ask your insurer. We write each line of the plan separately so you can send the parts you choose. We don't file claims, and we can't promise coverage.

Do I need to be home?

For the visit, someone should let us in and show us how to reach the attic. Work on the outside of the house doesn't need you there.

Where do you work, and when can you come?

Denver and the neighborhoods listed above. The phone is answered on weekdays and Saturday morning. Text a photo any time and we'll answer when the office opens. We give you a date when we talk, not before.

Still wondering?

Text a photo or call. We'll answer in the office hours.
